This is an absolute beauty, seldom found in this size without defects. This is solid, strong dark black heartwood and a striking section of light coloured sap wood on either side. This is the sort of statement blank that you may only get to turn once, I doubt that I will find another piece! There is a centre hole pre drilled on one side, it is 7mm diameter and 20mm deep.
